the sketches of Quanta show

the film screening in sylva was a good deviation for the band. it was nice to have a scaled down show with just neil and I and a bunch of folks out to see the film screenings. The support the music recieved was awesome. It is awesome having an audience that knows how to listen and engage in a dialogue with the band...especially in these more intimate settings. thanks to the hostesses, the filmmakers and those who came out.

I am looking foreword the the Soul Infusion Gig Feb 23 (adam big e low, bassman, will be back from his mini west coast tour)

I hope a lot of people make it out to the Feb 26 show at the Lift cafe to help them usher in their new art show in their gallery in Cherokee NC across from the fairgrounds. I think they will be putting out some info about the show...i believe this will be an acoustic show...but we will most likely have all for memebers of this Quanta project there.

This Blog is intended to be about the band...lyrics, shows, gossip, shameless self promotion, whatever...

synergy.... the saturday night show felt unique. there were times when i was absorbed by the acoustics bouncing from wall to wall. at times i closed my eyes and was wisked back to the arnold branch living room where just two souls worked the craft for the joy of it. nothing on earth can dull the pleasure of people working together for a common goal. people who can drip into each others synapses and create one thing from several diffrent ideas. it reminds me of the last few lyrics in stella blue, "it all rolls into one, and nothing comes for free". quanta is paying the so called "dues" and having a great time. come join us.
